Our fine art education gives us a discriminating eye and an understanding of aesthetics not possessed by ordinary guild-trained faux finishers. It is our philosophy that wall treatments should provide a subtle background for furnishings, fixtures, floor coverings and artwork. Our artists’ work hard to achieve the unique and tasteful look our clients always dreamed of.
Daydream Studios’ co-founder, Scott Dykema, graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with honors. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in oil painting.
Co-founder Anna Dykema also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas in Arlington with a minor in Art History. Her major concentration is in Printmaking. She also has extensive experience in digital imagery and graphics.
Both Scott’s paintings and Anna’s prints have been shown in galleries in Arlington and Dallas and their work is in many private collections.
